The Intermediate Care Home at LutherCare Village at Stonebridge supports the whole person in body, mind and spirit; and aims to create a community where residents are part of a familiar and supportive environment even as their needs change. Further details on the ICH can be found here.
Our Intermediate Care Home is specifically designed to serve those seniors who can no longer live on their own or care for themselves, but do not qualify for a subsidized special care home through the Canadian government. Instead, we work with the Province of Saskatchewan to provide licensed personal care homes (with indoor access from our Enriched Independent Living) that can accommodate comfortable family-style living with a full range of amenities:
Personal Hygiene Assistance and
Social And Recreational Activities
Assistance With Appointments and
Family Participation Encouraged
Professional Social Worker
Access and admission to our Intermediate Care Homes is administered by our LutherCare Village at Stonebridge staff. Priority is generally given to tenants residing in Enriched Independent Living. Second priority is then given to members of other LutherCare properties, followed by members of the community.
